The Holy Ghost explores the public display of Catholic rituals and processions in Ireland in the early 1990’s, a time when such displays began both to dwindle and yet assume even greater importance for those still driven to profess their faith in an overt manner. In many ways they became tokens of resistance against an incoming tide of secularism.
