The Swallowing Tree monograph, published in 2014, contains photographs made from 1999/2013 that explore the slow absorbtion of a religious prayer pinned to the trunk of a siver birch tree during the first search at Coghalstown Wood, one of the sites of the disappeared. This location was searched initially in the years 1999/2000 and then again from the autumn of 2009 to early summer 2010 without success. The remains of Seamus Wright and Kevin McKee, who were said to be buried at this location, were subsequently recovered in a separate search for Joe Lynskey, another disappeared man, in an adjacent field in 2016.
