A Delicate Balance is an exploration of the psychological tension of a non-specific ‘post-apocalyptic’ landscape. There are echoes of the film Time of the Wolf by Michael Hanecke and the novel The Road by Cormac McCarthy as the work traverses a landscape absent of people but shrouded in the metaphorical fog of our current anxieties surrounding climate change.
